Fees and Dues

Each Scout and Adult member of our troop is required to pay National and Local Council (Mid-America Council) dues. A chart of these fees can be found here.  In addition to dues at the national and council level, our Troop also collects annual dues to support our Troops activities, equipment and programs.  Dues are re-evaluated annually and published each fall for the coming calendar year. A detailed explanation of all fees can be found on our Dues & Fees page. 

Effective August 1, 2020, new Scouts are required to register with the BSA, complete and application, and pay a one-time $25 registration fee to National.

Financial assistance is available from MAC for covering National and Council fees, if needed. Please visit ​MAC-2022 MAC Program Support Fee Assistance (247scouting.com) .

Uniform Information

Class A Uniforms (and a lot of gear) can be purchased at the Gottschalk Scout Shop located at 12401 W Maple Road inside the  Boy Scouts Mid-America Council Building.

Class A Uniforms are worn for Troop meetings, Court of Honor, at some camping outings and service activities.
